What is Utility.Live?

Utility.Live is a cloud-native analytics and visualization platform for utilities and critical infrastructure operators. It is designed to ingest, normalize, and analyze streaming and historical data from OT and IT systems, and present the results in spatially and temporally aware views. The platform is built on OSRS SMPL specifications and OSRS Group methodologies, which means models, services, and data structures are explicitly defined and interoperable across organizations. Utility.Live can be deployed as a dedicated tenant for a single organization or as a shared environment for multi-agency collaboration, with strict separation of data and access controls. It supports both day-to-day operations and high-tempo incident response, allowing operators, engineers, and planners to work from the same factual baseline.

How Utility.Live is Delivered

Utility.Live is delivered as managed services, operated by OSRS Systems in close collaboration with OSRS Group. We use cloud-native, microservice-oriented architectures aligned with the System of Systems by Design (SoSD) methodology, allowing us to scale from a single-service deployment to enterprise-wide, multi-tenant environments without redesign. We expect utilities and infrastructure operators to have evolving needs, from small pilots to large-scale rollouts. Utility.Live uses flat-fee subscription tiers with metered usage for data and compute, avoiding per-user pricing. This aligns costs with actual usage and allows you to add users, assets, and data sources without renegotiating licenses.

Data, integration, and security

Utility.Live integrates with existing systems rather than forcing you to replace them. We provide adapters and APIs for common asset management, work management, SCADA, telemetry, and GIS platforms. Where standards exist, we adopt them; where they do not, we use explicit schemas so that data structures are transparent and versioned. Security and privacy are handled in collaboration with S3curely and follow the same practices we use for defense and critical infrastructure customers. That includes role-based access control, tenant isolation, encryption in transit and at rest, and explicit handling of sensitive and regulated data. We design for joint operations across multiple organizations while respecting each party’s governance requirements.
